I buy what makes sense for my needs/desires - did recently buy my wife a new Toyota Highlander though - considered a Mercedes SUV but got more size and bang for the buck in amenities for about $25K less....

Only a few vehicles have more than 75% US content:

Honda Accord, Pilot SUV, and Odyssey minivan
Toyota Camry and Sienna minivan
Chevy Traverse/GMC Acadia/Buick Enclave SUV

Eight foreign-based automakers (including all the big ones) assemble some vehicles in the US.
