Water table is about 4 to 6 feet down. They said that the water was sweet about half the year, then as the dry season progresses, the water gets more saline.
I have an idea for a small wind-powered pump to flash solar heated brackish water to vapor, then condense it for drinking water.
The physics looks good. Hopefully, the mechanics will work as envisioned.

I’m an EE, so your concept sounds totally fantastic! When do you expect to have a prototype working? If the physics work, the mechanicals should be easy. One son an ME, and another Civil with great ME skills & programming skills, another with 4 degrees in Physics, Math, Computer Science & Greek......just missing a ChemE!
