Bruce is a nice little brownshirt.
You will comply. You will not speak about things we do not agree with.
Why do musicians think they know anything about the economy or the constitution or freedom?
Shut up and sing.

He made some good records in the 70s and 80s and put on a heck of a concert.

This from a guy who cheated on his wife, left her and left it to his manager to tell her. Who has cheated AGAIN on his second wife (The mother of his children and his band mate) with a neighbor and everyone knows so HOW DARE HE TALK ABOUT TRUMP in this manner?

So wise, such superior insight into the nature of Trump. I’m betting Springsteen has completed at least the 10th grade.

The left considers Bruce their "everyman intellectual".
But as an "everyman" - he's lived the pampered life of a mega-rich rockstar since Nixon was president.
And as an "intellectual" - he's a high school dropout.
To put it all in perspective - Bruce Jenner was "Woman of the Year".

Never have understood the fascination with him. Back in college I made the mistake of buying one of his albums for a friend who just raved about him. After hearing part of the album played, I said that is screeching, not singing.

Thank goodness we have has-been rock stars to give us political guidance. It’s a relief to know we have a backup in case we ever run out of political wisdom from actors.
To: NobleFree
Yeah, I saw him twice, but I can’t stand to look at the records I bought years ago, and if he keeps on jabbering, I’m gonna put a video on Youtube of me burning those puppies.
Who the hell told him to open his stupid old fart mouth. His conscience? Now it looks like he’s a ridin, on a downbound train.
To: dfwgator
It was Rolling Stone hack Jon Landau who said one of the most ridiculous things in the music press back in 1974, when he claimed he “saw rock & roll’s future, and its name is Bruce Springsteen” . . . kinda short-sighted, eh Landau?
