Yep I hear you. With the whole issue of homosexual marriage, it is a staggering contradiction right off the bat. The word marriage by definition means a combining of opposites. What the left has dine here is to change the definition of a word.
But they have done this with the word gay as well. The word gay had an established dictionary definition. But that definition has been completely obliterated by using the word gay to mean a homosexual.
Gay isn’t even a word with a double meaning based on context. Gay nowadays only means homosexual.
