Election night was sweet, wasn't it?
IT was... I rememebr early returns showing hilLIARy ahead and thinking “I can’t take 4 more years of this”...
Then things started changing in Florida, and he was ahead... Then he pulled ahead in Ohip- I was in a room full of people and I think I was the first to notice on screen that Ohio was showing Trump ahead after being behind by 5 points all night. I shouted “LOOK AT OHIO!” and the whole room started jumping up and down.
By 2AM we were hoping they would have called it for Trump, but they were holding out... but we were all pretty cautiously happy... Then on the drive home I head Pennsylvania was won by Trump and I think Fox had called the election for Trump and I nearly drove off the road! People around me on the thruway sarted beeping their horns! It was 2:30AM and there was so much traffic on a work night.
Then I got home and saw Podesta’s pitiful speech telling everyone to go home, and then Trump saying hilLIARy’s campaign had called him and conceded.
I am STILL waiting for them to say there is a ‘technicality’ because hilLIARy was too drunk to call him personally and so she has not really ‘conceded’ yet.
But I had to go to work in the morning, and so I went to sleep happy at that point. And I think I have been happier every day than I had been in 10 years (Pelosi/Odumbass)
