Wonder who would have felt. Michaels probably, right? Another great idea though it involves cutting to size and possibly gasp measuring, lol.

Micheal's would yes.

I normally go to Hobby Lobby.

Measuring does help.

But is NOT required! LOL! XD

Easiest way to fix a tree skirt to fit large tree:

Get a large swuare piece of felt ( say about 6’x6’, cut the corners off so that it becomes an octagon shape, cut a whole in the center, then cut a slit out to one side.
Then wrap the base, overlapping the slit edges.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.

May Adonai bless you and yours.

You do NOT want to cover the stand!

If you do that, you can't water the tree and all the needles will dry up, fall off, and the tree become a FIRE HAZARD!

Yes, Michael's has felt and tree skirts too. :-)

What about decorations? Did you get any, or do the people have them already ?

I was at Michael’s yesterday and yes.. they have red felt. From my experience, some of the tree “skirts” are small. I use a larger one that I found at Home Goods. It isn’t a typical “tree skirt” but a pretty small blanket (mine looks like velvet but I have seen others in cream/ivory/green/red etc and some of the fabrics looks like satin. I guess with decorating you have to think “out of the box” (it is what every designer tv show does!). To be honest, once a tree is decorated... few people even glance at the bottom of the tree. A few weeks ago I came across a 1950-60's color wheel at a garage sale.. needless to say I was ecstatic! I have fond memories as a child of Christmas.... since then i've been looking for a pom-pom aluminum Christmas tree to go with the color wheel...checked eBay and I was blown away with their prices on the tree! Ugh..guess I'll never be able to have one last memory come true...😢
