The electoral college is a safety system against government takeover by larger states like Californika and New York. We are not a democracy like the demonicrats want us to be but a representative republic. Without the electoral college small states would be steam rolled every election by big states. It amazes me how many ignorant people want to get rid of this protection. It seems they never went to school, I learned it in the 5th grade.

But the majority of Americans don’t understand the electoral college. Some group needs to make public education on our Republic a priority.
