I didn't realize that myself. Why penalize half of the voters just because checking every ballot by hand takes so long?
That is why Team Trump needs to get their lawyers into WI and fight to get the recount stopped or at least limit it to a statewide machine recount only which should only take a couple of days.
If the numbers from the final vote count and the recount remain nearly the same, would then that should end the recount period and not allow it to drag on with prescinct audits or hand recounts. I hope I’m wrong but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that ballot security/integrity is lax at best, making it possible to slip in massive amounts of bogus ballots and we see massive amounts of new Hillary votes in the recount which will be blamed on a “hack”!
