I live in Arizona. Sedona is beautiful, but it is also an idiot leftist magnet. All kinds of wiccans, brain-damaged hippies in tie-dyed shirts, and other New Age nut jobs live there. Supposedly there is some kind of magical “vortex” there in the red rocks, really silly stuff. Sedona used to be a nice little tourist town, now it’s overrun with unhinged leftists.
Unfortunately you're right. Santa Fe, NM is the same way. It's overrun by flaky New-Agers who believe in magic healing crystals. You'd think grown-ups would realize that quartz has no special powers.
