A federal judge is ordering the Republican National Committee to detail any agreements it has with Donald Trump's campaign to engage in "ballot security" efforts in connection with next week's election something the national GOP has been banned from doing for decades without court approval.
The order also instructs the RNC to explain by 5 p.m. Tuesday what Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence were talking about in recent comments when they said that Trump's campaign was working closely with the RNC to make sure there is no fraud at the polls.
Newark, N.J.-based U.S. District Court John Vazquez issued the order Monday after the Democratic National Committee went to court last week to allege that the RNC was violating consent decrees from the 1980s settling a case

Curious what would happen if the RNC just ignored the judge.

...something the national GOP has been banned from doing for decades without court approval This just tells you how corrupt and weak the Republican Party was before Trump. Why would any political party agree to any limitation on their right to observe elections? After all the people doing the observing are citizens with rights under state and federal laws. What kind of a fool would give those rights away? A RINO, that's who.
No need for the RNC to get involved, they wouldn't do a good job anyway. They can simply appoint individuals in states where that is required, and the individuals can act on their own without party supervision.

Worst consent decree ever. Whatever the results of a trial would have been in 1981, it would have done one hundredth of the damage that an agreement to never look for or even mention vote fraud has been. How many elections since then have been decided by the box of ballots "found" at the last minute which just happen to push the Democrats to victory.

The memos tell RNC workers, officials and volunteers not to engage in poll watching efforts at all, not to take video or audio recordings at polling places and not to mention ballot fraud concerns on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
Sometimes, if the decree is ridiculous, or reeks of Nazi Germany, it must be ignored.
