I don’t agree with her views on Hillary, but she nailed it by stating the importance of voting.
Actually and honestly. Ignorant people voting is far more dangerous to the republic than them staying home.
There is an importance of voting, but I think there is an even more importance of making an informed decision. My daughter told me a friend at work didn’t like either candidate so he just shut his eyes and voted for whoever his finger landed on. My neighbor told me he didn’t like either candidate so he wasn’t going to vote, but if he could vote Obama for another term he would. I just told him I’m glad he wasn’t voting if that was the case.
Yep, she does understand civic duty and her son should be smacked hard on the head for making fun of his mother like that no matter what dumb views she holds.
