Ohio - Requires a class from a Gun Shop which is 6 hour class room and 2 hours range time, with written test and demonstrated competency on the range 20 out of 24 in chest area on a silhouette target at 10’ & 21’ then the FBI background check.

BTW, here in Kern County, CA, ccw’s are “may issue,” but are not difficult to get. 8 hour initial class, 4 hr refresher every 2 years.
