I had some liberal troll ask me, apparently in earnest, what we should do about the uninsured now that Obamacare is predictably tanking. I replied that they were none of my concern as they were neither my children nor members of my family and that government’s attempts to make them my concern were getting more and more expensive and heavy-handed.

Freedom is a two-way street but some people want all the lights to be green in their direction only.

I trained and worked as a life guard for several seasons during my teens. One of the primary rules I learned was that I couldn’t assist anyone if I allowed myself to be placed at critical risk. You can’t save someone when you’re drowning yourself.

So it is with socialism - which is after all where Øbamacare is leading us. We will be incapable of helping anyone else if (when) we are so heavily burdened by costs that we can’t take care of ourselves.

government is not family.

its not your buddy.

its not your parents, or your wallet, your husband, or your provider.

weve allowed it to be all these things it is not.
