I’ll be downloading the remastered version on pc for free since I have all the stuff already, but I don’t think mods will work until they are updated, if I am not mistaken.

You might be able to start pre-loading. Look for “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition” on your Steam game library list.
