That's right. Doesn't matter if the guy may, or may not be running for re-election. If his name is on the ballot, people should be able to select it and not have their vote programmatically changed to someone else.

People should be able to vote for whom they want. Heck, that's the whole purpose of a write-in.

Besides ... it's been pointed out ... this argument is two years old.
