Time Warner has a cable company and ISP. They are small compared to AT&T, but it's there with millions of customers.

Time Warner owns multiple entities that distribute political content and opinion...most prominently CNN.

Oh, and right now AT&T buys content from every network without favoritism. Because they have no business interest in any of it. That would change with this deal.

Time Warner previously sold their cable operations to Charter Communications. The service will be rebadged Spectrum Cable at some point.
