Thanks for that info. Magnesium is also very much a part of heart rythm and relaxation, as well as sugar metabolism. Without enough magnesium, you're not going to get the insulin you need to metabolize it. Some people believe magnesium deficiency IS diabetes. Low magnesium is also conected to migraines, low energy, cramps, etc. Magnesium is also lost very easily - sweat, stress, etc. Here's a book on it:

medical pushes’too much calcium on people and no magnesium.
soirce of a lot of folks problems today. so much people probably need to take twice as much mag as calcium, maybe even stop taking calcium if they have problems and/or eat a lot of dairy.
