What’s going on here, in Syria? It all seems to be maybe heavily screened and minimized by the Google Machine, but as far as I can see, Vladimir Putin’s Russia is “assisting” the President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, as he battles “rebels” who are trying to take him down and out and probably kill him.
It’s either 1962 (Cuba missile crisis) redux; or else
it’s August 1914.
I don’t find either palatable; and both imho are avoidable.
If Russia is assisting Assad, good for them.
He’s a rotten, no-good murderous SOB, but he’s better than his opposition.

And Hillary wants to place a no fly zone where Russian jets will be flying. Most of the anti Iraq war left and the neocons are together on Hillary. I find that maddening
