The bigger threat to democracy is exempting the elite from laws.
Tell that to those former IL governors who have gone to prison. He threatened an independent prosecutor who would present to a Grand Jury. That is how a real democracy works.

I see that they want to exempt law enforcement and government employees from gun laws. The elite just keeps growing.
I Kind of like the word Republic myself, without the constitution and Bill of rights a Democracy would just be mob rule, which basically is what it is today which is why Obama has been president for eight years and why Hillary is even running for President.
With the federal judges interpreting the laws to suit the homosexuals, illegal aliens, pigs and pot heads the republic is in danger.
