That was not the entire Pence statement. I thought the entire statement came across as disapproving and I was disappointed he did not phrase it stronger.

Pence said: “I am grateful that Donald Trump has expressed remorse and apologized to the American people. We pray for his family and look forward to the opportunity he has to show what is in his heart when he goes before the nation tomorrow night.” - Mike Pence

If you have the entire Pence statement, go ahead and post it yourself.

Exactly! I don't get all of this praise... look at Allen West's response.. THAT's how Pence should have handled it... West would have been a much bette VP... he would have forcefully defended Trump at the Debate, here, and in the future... and taken the fight to Hillary, Obama, and the media..

Pence wants to stay above the fray and never gets his hands dirty.. he can learn a lot from West... he won the debate but allowed Trump to be attacked non-stop and all he did was shake his head... against conventional FR wisdom, I think he's a poor choice for VP... everyone should rally around Trump and change the narrative to the big picture, not feigning fake outrage!
