I’m wondering how much money the Clinton Foundation will donate for food, medicine and blankets to help the people of Haiti so hard hit by this hurricane?

Even before Global Warming, the media has loved the prospect of 24 hour coverage of anything.

Hurricane Matthew is no joke and media warnings should not be taken lightly.

The news media are not exaggerating on this one. Hurricane Matthew is a serious threat.

I’ve lived through smaller hurricanes and tropical storms here in Virginia. Power was out for many people for 3 and more weeks. Massive trees down. Grocery store shelves empty. Can’t imagine winds above 80 mph, let alone over 115 mph. That is scary enough for me.

Today we are being deluged with dramatic and dramatized stories about Hurricane Matthew getting ready to wallop Florida.

I hate the drama that goes along with every Tropical Storm or Depression. However, in this case, with a storm as large and fierce as this , I don't think you can overdramatize it. The storm is a Cat 4, and that means severe damage to those in it's path. So I'm okay with over dramatization of Matthew.

One of the great things about not having TV is, though I know there is a hurricane somewhere, I know it like I know there is a debate on Sunday. I don’t hear about it every day.
