Having seen a few people get burned by private educators, I think it may be reasonable for some of them to publicize the quarterly reports to the paying students.

Certainly I would not sign with any of them until I saw them...3-5 years back.

When they go BK you lose your money and any chance of completing the program...and there are some good programs.

Sometimes worse, you lose that time.

But...Cosmetology? Who would spend a bunch of money to do that?

There’s more to cosmetology than putting on lipstick or eye shadow. It is a respected skill and the best in the business are worth their weight in gold.

Cosmetology? My wife worked at a very prestigious salon in Leavenworth that catered to officers wives. In 1999 the last year she worked she made $60,000 plus about $12,000 in tips. The school was about $12,000 in 1991.
It was a great investment for her.

I guess a BA in some lberal arts BS and working for mimium wage would be a better investment?

I don’t know about spending a bunch of money, but hair care, etc. is a big business.

and some of the stuff, like perms and hair coloring, you certainly do want a trained person.

It’s OK, per Obama this will all be done by illegal immigrants now, so that’s cool.
