Obama through the Department of Education, has been forcing “for profit” schools and colleges to close throughout the country. We had Heald College shut down here by DOE allegations, which left a ton of students in the lurch.
That’s true, but in the long run younger kids are going to be discouraged by their parents or friends not to attend college even if it’s “free.” Because they’ll be enslaved by the government to do some make-work to pay it back, or they’ll be indoctrinated into something they’re not interested in. So a lot of them will skip higher education altogether and learn the trades or hand-on work.

My mother is an inspector for NACCAS which is a contractor for the Department of Education. They determine if a school can be accredited and receive student loans. She said all for profit schools are under extreme pressure to close from the DOE.
