How would someone even know a smile was warranted? It’s not as if you can see their own facial expression. If they actually were being smiled at, there would still be some offense found, finding them amusing or something.

It would be sexist of me to assume they are women. Since they haven’t expressed their preferred pronoun, and they haven’t adopted western attire, it’s just safer to be silent, but wary.

Fashion wise, the hijab is just so 7th Century. Thankfully I’ve never seen one of these sex slaves in person but my tagline would be my message to them.
