My comment was, however, an attack on your insistent in post #20 that racially mixed cultures are doomed. There are as many exceptions to as there are examples of your position.
Minorities typically do not resist their social position so long as there is equanimity in treatment. Our nation is the best illustration of this, given a preponderance of racial group that settled successfully.
It has been since the advent of the very dynamics you describe in post #31 that racial conflict has become an issue. IOW our current troubles are deliberate attempts to break down the equanimity that has been dominant in our communities.
