The fact that information is coming out so slowly means that they are pretty sure it was Muslim terrorism.

You have to consider the politics of it now. Every terrorist attack translates to 100,000+ votes for Trump.

The old media is always like that to some extent, Trump or no Trump. But I think they are in especial protective mode these days.
