Many of our Conservative brethren are so blinded by hubris they fail to recognize Conservatives have had no choice ever since Donald Trump was chosen the Republican candidate for President.
There is no choice. No matter the wishes of some in our movement, there is no counterpoint option other than Hillary. Trump. Hillary. Trump. Hillary. No other options to choose from. Of course, Johnson and Steien are “options” but only insofar as choosing either will help/harm Clinton or Trump. Of course, “not voting” is an option as well, but this merely withholds support (and a needed vote) from the candidate one feels is, in the end, the least dangerous.
The Never Trumpers are the same folks that insisted everyone coalesce around Romney.
RINOs AND hypocrites.
Some times it’s not about voting for the lesser of two evils.
Sometimes it’s about voting AGAINST the far greater evil.
Never Trumpers need to figure that out.
(I don’t consider Trump to be the lesser of two evils. He’s a positive good, with flaws like the rest of us.)
I marvel how the Hate Trump Always squad are so blinded by arrogance they cannot see they have painted themselves in a lose-lose corner.
Trump wins. They are exposed as politically impotent and irrelevant.
Trump loses. Have painted the bullseye on themselves as to why he lost for everyone on the Right.
There is no upside on this for them.
Trump was not my first choice nor last as candidate, but the lives of my grandchildren depend upon him being elected president in November. No other option is acceptable. A vote for Johnson or Stein equals a vote for HRC. I held my nose and voted Romney, anyone who doesn’t like Trump can grow some character and vote Trump for all our progeny.
