I just watch Newt defend Trump on his Putin statements.
I think the best argument is the statement that 0bama made prior to his re-election that once re-elected, tell Putin he'd have more flexibility.

I don’t understand all the fuss... Trump clearly said he didn’t agree with the Russian system, but that Putin has been a stronger leader than Obama. Clearly true...
Donald Trump’s strategy is to “keep his friends close, and his ENEMIES CLOSER.” Trump knows what he is doing. Putin is cunning and cagey, and Donald Trump is well versed on dealing with cunning, dangerous people.
Well I completely disagree with Trumps position on Putin and Iraq but I don’t believe for an instant that Hilary is some hawk on Russia.
