NORC is grateful for each and every person who participates in our research projects and works tirelessly to protect their privacy and rights as a research participant.

History does not give this statement a high level of confidence! Not specifically for the NORC but for any database, like this, that contains hacker-valued data. As for participation, it is true that such surveys can assist but conversely personal information given out adds to personal risk! A solution might be to only answer questions that do not reveal personal info.
