More support for the theory: Comey is sabotaging Obama's order that he let Hillary skate

It's the only way to explain his behavior.

On first glance, it appears James Comey is the leader of the FBI’s effort to let Hillary get away with her crimes. Not only did he decline to recommend her prosecution when the evidence clearly showed she was guilty of multiple felonies (although not as many as we know about now), but the more we learn about the FBI’s investigative processes in the case - particularly the bizarre manner in which they interviewed Hillary herself - it seems obvious that this whole thing was a setup designed to have the FBI go through the motions with no real intention of getting to the truth or acting on it.

That indicts Comey pretty badly.

Nah. The memo is the act of a drowning man desperate for a flotation device.

He is angry. No one (except those associated with PIAPS) has spoken out in his defense. He is criticized and ridiculed. Not a happy camper.

His days are numbered. I predict his resignation after the election.

Hmmmmm . . . is it possible that Comey may wish to keep his job in a Trump administration?

Comey will be the FBI director until 2022, unless he's impeached or resigns.

The president may remove a director with adequate cause. President Clinton dismissed Director William Sessions halfway through his term on charges that Sessions misused official resources—such as using FBI aircraft for personal trips.

Congress can also remove an FBI director by impeachment. Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution says that any civil officer can be removed if the Senate convicts him of “treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” A two-thirds vote is required for conviction. (Mueller, of course, has not been charged with any of these.)

In any situation, however, it is much more likely that the president would ask an FBI director to resign rather than fire him. Clinton dismissed Sessions only after he refused to resign.

Trump will make it too hot for him to stay. He has tarnished the FBI forever. Like Caesars wife—the FBI Director must be above suspicion.

She does not have to be indicted to receive a pardon. The act only has to be committed. Obama can give her a blanket pardon for all but state crimes. And, after taking the oath, she can pardon herself.

Not this crap again. We heard the same BS about Justice Roberts and Obamacare. They are both corrupt—Comey and Roberts.

Comey is attempting to show WTP just how badly the O-cancer has spread throughout the hallowed halls of DC. Thus, his actions and reactions. This is the only possible explanation of what has been seen. He is a whistle blower but doing so with a pitch used that one must be tuned in to hear. There are patriots who do hear him, and the ‘ride of Paul Revere’, just as there are those that are stone deaf and seldom hear a word or words other than their own.

Dir. Comey, we patriots hear you and appreciate your stance.

fbi director apppointment is for a 10-year term and transcends changes of administrations ... keeps the job apolitical ... right

That’s what I figured; thank you for the history there. I only vaguely remember that (before FR or before I was on FR).

And considering how Trump doesn’t tolerate fools or wrong doers, I don’t think he would have any hesitation in getting rid of Comey.

Comey has a ten year term and can’t be removed.

Normally, no. But all bets are off if he is indicted and convicted on, say, obstruction of justice charges.

Maybe he can’t be removed but Trump could make his life miserable.

I think you nailed it. The FBI is infuriated that they had their spine removed by Obama and the Justice Department for Hillary. They will continue to dump on her right up until the election. If Trump gets in the FBI gets redemption and they throw the RICO book at the Clinton crime family. The DOJ gets purged and Clinton is trapped by her own lies when the fix was in for her to be hand picked as our president by the oligarchs that want to gut America.

Well stated - Plus this: Hillary did nothing as SOS that was not 100% the will of Obama. To indict Hillary would lead to indicting Obama. That is why the faux Benghazi investigation by Gowdy went nowhere. The Fix is in on all levels of our Govt. Soetoro and Hillary dance down the road to Shariah and we don’t even know what is going to hit us whether Trump is in the WH or not.

...particularly the bizarre manner in which they interviewed Hillary herself...ya think? - they "interview" her for three hours on Saturday of a long holiday weekend, and on the morning of the following Tuesday come up with their "findings" - like in two days - one a holiday - they would have been able to digest everything she told them - compare and integrate it with all the rest of their findings, and determine meaningful conclusions and recommendations - that travesty alone should have gotten Comey fired......
