There is no national "Presidential election", and therefore there is nothing for Obama to suspend.

The President and Vice President are chosen, this year on December 19, by electors appointed by 50 State Legislatures (plus 3 electors unwisely granted to Congress in 1960).

This is a decentralized process that has nothing to do with the government at Washington (again, with the exception of the three electors appointed by Congress).

In other words his actions are already imposing martial law and no one is connecting the dots. This isn’t conspiracy. This is observation.
