illary Clinton wants America to think that Trump is unfit to be president. Her ads portray him as erratic and unsteady. In interviews, she calls him unqualified and a threat" to democracy. This is not someone who should ever have the nuclear codes, Clinton said in a speech back in June. Its a line of attack that could well help Clinton broaden her base. Last month, the Clinton presidential campaign launched an initiative to court moderate Republicans and independents who would ordinarily balk at supporting a Democratic nominee, but whose loathing for Donald Trump might persuade them to pull the lever for the former secretary of state. That was just after a new Clinton campaign ad featured prominent conservatives questioning Trumps fitness to be commander-in-chief.
The strategy is simple: Go after the middle, flaunt your high-profile GOP supporters and paint Trump as a lunatic. In other words, make the election a referendum on The Donalds fitness to serve as the worlds most powerful head of state.

I have seen the ad, and although it portrays only partial Trump quotes that are out of context, meant to alarm viewers, I find myself AGREEING with him! LOL!
As the song goes,”You may be right,
I may be crazy. But it just might be
a lunatic you’re looking for!”
I hope the DNC doesn’t realize they’re royally f***ed until November 9th.
Trump is meeting with minority community leaders, so he’s immunized against the crazy bigot frontlash Hillary planned.
Trump can’t be easily pigeonholed as Goldwater was and he’s running against a Washington establishment much of the country loathes.
Hillary’s biggest problem is she is a Washington insider politician. And people hate them.
That’s why she’s sinking in the polls.
Clinton admits to forgetting matters of national security. She has a cognitive disability. Clinton must never have the nuclear codes.
Pollutico is publishing a “once a week” article that pretends to attack Hitlery. Then back to full time Trump bashing.
“Huma, do you have those darn nuclear codes? Did I email them to you?”
A long windy article..
Basically;
1) Hillary is pointing out how crazy Trump is.
2) 1964 election, Bill Moyers, daisy ad... scaring people.
3) Daisy ad worked, Hillary’s scare ads will work.
4) After her win in November, the repubs who voted for her out of fear might want a small voice in her future presidency and that might be a small problem for her to sort out.
Now, I’ve saved you from a long boring politico Hillary commercial.
I should know better than to read an article on Politico before girding my barf bag. And BTW: why are liberals so pompously long winded?
It couldn’t be more serious. Abedin may very well have access. Think about that. Huma Abedin, associate of 9/11 financiers, having access to nuclear codes.
+1
Nice summation.
Who knew Billy Joe was a prophet?
So, the problem was calling Goldwater crazy meant no deep support for Great Society programs. Well, 50 years later, and the programs are still here. Not that much of a backlash.
Too many people believe lots of words = smart.
Goldwater lost, so did Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush and McCain and Romney.
For some reason, pundits want to hearken all the way back to Goldwater and his loss that occurred the next year after the assassination of JFK and all the dynamics related to that.
They are trying to paint Trump as Goldwater is an effort to create doubt, confusion, demoralization, and depress the vote for Trump.
It is their version of sympathetic magic that no longer has any spell casting energy.
Because of BJ, Hillary has mastered the “nuts and sluts” campaign. It’s the only one she knows. The libtard media now has a Mrs. Trump $150 million lawsuit against them for suggesting she worked previously as a prostitute.
..............given HRC’s history with classified information it has to be the all time, all time belly roll laugher that somehow she would be more responsible with nuclear codes than Trump.
By now, I think I feel the most pitiful toward any true voter that hasn’t made up their little mind yet!
