One difference, and if it doesn't MAKE a difference then the country is, indeed, over. That difference is the German people were not armed against the Brown Shirts. The American people are armed. My Great Uncle (he was white) owned a duplex on 69th St. in the heart of the area. His neighbors (all blacks, all well armed) took turns watching his house to make sure they were not harmed. Uncle Robert sold the duplex a short time later.
