Seaweed can taste really good, but I have yet to find an insect that does.

And, in the coming years, a global shift from resource-intensive, animal-sourced proteins to more sustainable marine and plant-based sources is on the cards, both for our health and that of the planet. Effin idiots...

But could seaweed and protein-packed insects prove too much, too soon?
Disgust is something unique to each culture. Disgust plays a huge role in food selection and there would be a good level of disgust about seaweed and about novel protein sources, as weve got no experience with them.
Its part of our psyche: just the idea of eating an insect, for example, without first smelling it, tasting it or holding it. That is disgust and an animal doesnt have that.
WTF ever.
I don’t mind eating bugs but, they are not as tasty as Beef cooked rare or carpacio style. Same goes for Tuna encrusted in sesame seed and wasabe or BBQ chicken.
Besides, I have a bird on my head, so your argument is invalid...

Globalist plan to get the hoi-poloi used to their version of soylent green. That way all the meat and fish can be eaten by the masters.

I live in Japan and they had some seaweed crackers that I remember calling, osimbe. They were great and I've yet to get any here in the US since then. Anyone have any ideas about them?

All they have to do is write a fantastic new diet book, promising rapid and substantial weight loss, and get a few Hollywood types to praise it to the hills.
They would have, of course, a new powdered version of bugs and seaweed, and would make a small fortune in no time.

We are the only species that exhibit disgust in this way,
Clearly he hasn't met my cat.
I don't mind eating bugs after they've been processed correctly. The best way to process them is to run them through the digestive tract of a chicken or a trout, then eat the meat.

We’re getting more insect in our diets already than we’d find palatable if publicized. All processed foods have a standard maximum percentage of insect parts. It’s especially noteworthy in peanut butter.

What a load of horse hooey.

Oh, really? When I try to give my cat some of my highly peppered steak, he wrinkles his nose in disgust at it and narrows his eyes, as if to say "You b*****d! How could you offer me something like that!"
