Your money is going to WELFARE which is still part of the ‘Farm biil’ (almost all of it). Once upon a time, the government paid farmers to keep production up and used the actual items (milk, cheese, eggs, etc) to give to those on welfare. It got rid of the excess and prevented an overrun. Now, they get EBT cards but the farmers still get the blame.
Tell you what if you send me your name and address I’ll ask the next Somali refugee in line in front of me with a heaping basket of groceries sliding their EBT cards to pay for it and I’ll ask them to send you one.
