That’s not because they’re black.
“Thats not because theyre black.”
I did not intend to imply that the statistics were what they are because somebody is picking on blacks.
I recall a story being told by Jesse Jackson about walking at night in DC. It went something like this, “These two young men were behind me. I was terrified. Imagine my relief when I discovered they were white boys.” Nobody is more frightened of confronting a black man in the dark than another black man.
The reputation blacks have for violence is well earned and, probably, the biggest obstacle that blacks must overcome in society if they want to live well.
