They did it on purpose.
Problem is, by _not_ editing out the next bit, they’d spread to millions the message “go to the suburbs and burn down THEIR neighborhoods”.
As one living in such a neighborhood, that would be a bad idea both for homeowners and for the rioters who discover the hard way that many such homeowners are heavily armed.
I’ll accept the apology if they repeat it every 15 minutes from 6-9PM tonight. Otherwise they’re just doing damage control and now can say they “admitted it was a mistake” when attacked without letting more that a few viewers know what they did.
I’ll accept they are sorry for the “mistake” if they announce reasonable change to their production process and follow through to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Not a chance of that.
I really hate clicking on a link and have some marketing scam hijack the site with no way out without continuing the scam.
CNN is a Dung Storm in the airwaves.
This kind of thing is why the Ministry of Propaganda hates the internet.
They get caught being the Ministry of Propaganda.
The apology was picked up as national filler by my small town fishwrapper so I suspect more people will see the apology than saw the original crooked story.
Youll probably know CNN as that network you only watch when youre trapped in an airport
I only watch CNN when I’m waiting for my order at Jack In The Box. For some reason, they always have it going there.
This one is even more comprehensive in detailing CNN’s lies: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2qCCX8IHIs&t=0s
You'll probably know CNN as that network you only watch when you're trapped in an airport, there's no wifi, your laptop's battery is dead, you don't want to spend money on outdated print media, and you need something to look at while you slurp up your third watered-down Bloody Mary.
CNN is also good for those who miss the most excellent Baghdad Bob programming.
1) Lie.
2) Get caught.
3) Apologize.
4) Repeat.
The U.S. media are the disciples of deceit working directly for the D.C. crowns of collusion and corruption.
This corrosive rot is nearly complete, from top to bottom.
“He looks black!”
They should be punished by having to air the original as many times as they aired the edited one...and each airing with a statement...this is what she really said that we edited out.
