First I heard mammograms weren’t necessary every year - tell that to my grandmother who died from breast cancer.

Then I hear that pap smears aren’t necessary every year.

Little things, even flossing, that contribute to American’s longevity are being chipped away. My sister doesn’t believe in flossing and has big gaps between all her teeth.

I floss in the shower every night and get a clean bill of health from my dentist. That being said, having spent quite a bit of time in Great Britain, I never once saw a dentist office. We Americans take very good care of our teeth and I will continue to believe that flossing has a big part of it.
