If requiring voter ID is discriminatory against minorities, then refusing cash is REALLY discriminatory of minorities.

Likewise. In fact, I’ve been increasing my use of cash and check and limiting credit card purchases.

Sounds stupid to me since they get discounted on every dollar they take in. Plus the owners don’t get any cash.

If requiring voter ID is discriminatory against minorities, then refusing cash is REALLY discriminatory of minorities. My first thought also. Poor folks of color be like "yo, my EBT a credit card, right"?

Let’s see. I can use a card, get 1% back, and they can pay processing fees, or I can pay cash, get nothing back, and they keep all the money.
The only way this makes sense to me is if employee theft is far greater than the merchant fees.

Same here-contract labor, doing the little low-dollar-and-profit jobs bigger crews don’t want, taking cards makes no sense-most customers don’t have them anyway...
