63 is the age if factored right. If you were born in 1948, 66 is full retirement. You can retire at reduced rate a few years before.

I know you can collect SS earlier,I did at 62, but Medicare doesn’t kick in until 65.

66 if you were born in 1948. That is when mine did. The WITCH and I are the same age, she’s turned 68 already, I turn 68 the 19th of Aug. Mine did not kick in until 66.
We have not only Medicare regs. to follow but DOD MANDATES as hubby is 77 retired Navy, Ret. SCPO on Tricare Life. DUMBOCARE gutted both of them. We are DOD MANDATED for daily scripts to use a Military base or the FRAUD prone Express Scripts for daily meds, or pay full cost for meds. His 1 cholesterol drug is $900 retail for 3 months. It runs in his family along with bad knees. Neighbor’s meds were delivered to our house yesterday not theirs’, no ID Sign for, just shoved in your mail box, rain, shine, heat cold.

My drug coverage,provided by my former employer,STRONGLY suggested thst we change to Express Scripts to save money-—better deal that the pharmacy. This was a little over 2 years ago.
I did.
About 3 months ago I got so fed up I changed back to Rite-Aid and the prices are virtually the same.
I despise Express Scripts. My complaints are many,but the absolute stupidity of some of their “service” representatives boggles the mind.

My AMMO got delivered three times to neighbors homes— one even opened the box ! (Not USPS obviously)
USPS, at the same time there was an Amazon box.
Since we get both type things guess she didn’t read the address or names. Several Retired Military on our street and Express Scripts (look up their FRAUD) is DOD Mandated. And there is no ID sign for.
When DOD MANDATED them for Tricare Life, I googled them, didn’t like what I read, and use them only for 2 drugs the Military base does not carry. Hubby writes them a check, won’t let them into his credit card. Takes a month to mail in a script and get it back, 2 weeks for refills, their voice recognition system sucks. He speaks very clear no real regional accent English.
