In 2012 it was Romney who demoralized republican voters.

Troof. And the GOPe wanted Bush over Trump and in 80 wanted Ford over Reagan, even going so far as to try and force Reagan into accepting Ford as a "co-president."

I held my nose and voted for McCain, then held it again and voted for Romney, but a lot of people won't do that. Every day I wake up and ask God why Obama's president, then thank him that Romney and McCain aren't. Those two would have done 90% of what Obama's doing, but it would have been hung around the "conservative" party's neck.

Allow me to clip out and emphasize what you have just said, sir.

It is because they all (Obama, McCain, Romney, et alii) are in the same globalist club, and they all share the same basic goals (Obama has a few of his own as well). I worried that Reagan might be part of that crowd at the time, but he proved me (happily) wrong. Maybe the Establishment angst over the Donald implies that he is as much of a threat to them as Ronald was. We'll see.
