Right. The Turks are going to protect Centcom after they suspect the US was behind the coup. The Turks suspect one of two things, a second coup or that the US was going to start removing the Nukes. Using the Centcom visit as cover. They are now setup to overrun the base in 15 minutes with 6,000 police. They could have just blockaded the road miles from the base like they did a few days ago if they were keeping crowds away.
