I like it!
“range is limited” indeed. It’s a Belly Buster, pure and simple. Shove it in the belly or chest, pull the trigger.
It’s a close range, in-yer-face weapon.

A lot of these were actually made in Belgium. The gunmakers around Liege churned out hundreds of thousands of weapons over the years, everything from your basic clunkers to guns made for the Russian Czars and European royalty that stand among the best guns ever built.

Damn, where can I get one!

The French called hoodlums “apaches” (pronounced apash).

I saw those in a gun book from the library in my youth. Looks like a pinfire.

Actually, it’s three — three — three in-yer-face weapons in one!

True that...
A “Whack!”, followed by a “stab!”, followed by a “ker-bang!”

The brass knuckles might be useful.

Its a close range, in-yer-face weapon. Yup. Why reach out and touch someone when you can get up close and personal?

"... a revolver, a knife and brass knuckles..."If I can make a request, I want one that is a revolver, an espresso maker, and a 1980s fax machine.

Uh, you have to hold it backwards to use the brass knuckles.

Uh, you have to hold it backwards to use the brass knuckles. Not exactly. They fold, meant for use after the revolver cylinder runs empty. It was expected that the low-power cartridge would require emptying the weapon into an opponent to stop him...but he might have friends. The low power also meant that the sound of the shots stayed inside a room, and was less likely to attract outside attentiuon from les cops.

Why risk getting hurt when you don't have to?

Ah, the homely Dolne "Apache" revolver. I have never actually handled one myself, and at this point in my life, I wouldn't go out of my way to do so. In his youth, my maternal grandfather owned both a "Protector" palm pistol and a Reid "My Friend" knuckleduster... an "Apache" would have been a great addition to his armoury of lackluster handguns.
(Actually, the Reid guns were not nearly as craptacular - IMHO - as the other two.)
