We have come too far from having to worry about basic survival. Even our poor have been affluent, compared to history and the rest of the world. So, affluence and the pursuit of pleasure have played a huge role in transforming us into a country which cherishes evil over good and fantasy over reality. The rise of technology will be the real Waterloo for us. An EMP could bring everything down in an instant because of it. We are way beyond what Mother Nature intended in every respect and it will not last. It cannot last. Those who survive what is coming will do so through common sense.
Yeah, what’s coming makes me glad I’m old. I’m really worried for my kids though.

Even in a republic, the populous votes for people to run the government. If the government and the parties lie to the people, they can’t make an informed choice. So whether republic or democracy, being lied to is an attempt to steal the vote away from the people.
And somehow the media and the billionaire class assume that they are part of the VIP class that has a right to run the country too, having never been elected by anybody.
The founding fathers did their best to insulate us from human nature, man was given agency by God so man would be responsible for his own actions, alas there is just no getting around the inhuman actions of human nature.

God said, thou shall not lie. So, who is lying, God? No, those who lie to steal an election are not doing God’s work. Or the people’s work. We are only human, but all the forces on us are not God’s work. Hillary works for the other side.
