And there are dozens more. Some look like legit contributions others, all high dollar amounts - $5000 or more all share the same phone number. That particular phone number - 202-488-5015 rings in to a voicemail box at the DNC in Washington DC. I wonder if anyone at the FEC is looking at these contributions. And I thought the Dems didn't approve of anonymous big donor contributions?

“Seed corn” is a metaphor often used for either funding a continuing funding process or providing early stage funding for something in general.
It looks like there are names for all those donors, so maybe they were just directing their donors to some particular fundraising effort the DNC had going on? E.g., maybe their treasurer was matching, or had a source that was matching, such funds?
