You are the third person so far in this thread to have noticed what appears obvious to me. I am surprised that more people do not recognize this as a fake story.
It is called “self deception”. They want so much to believe it is true they overlook the obvious. The air crash of Air Florida 007 in a snow storm was caused by this.
