Gingrich Urges Republicans To Accept Reality In Immigration Reform Debate
He observed that The 12 million people are here, living and working. Many of them are bound together by the web of human relations family, friends, neighbors and the American people will not support mass deportation. As a party, we simply cannot continue with immigration rhetoric that in 2012 became catastrophic in large part because it was not grounded in reality.
...
In Fridays letter, Gingrich praised Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) the leading Republican advocate for a path to citizenship for cutting through some of the baloney with the observation that what we have now is de facto amnesty.

And while King has said he has the muscle to sink any piecemeal immigration bill, Gowdy scoffed. "The number of people who have a Steve King precise ideology on immigration isn't going to be sufficient to sink anything."

Old news is fun!
I guess you didn’t post the part where the liberals in NJ wanted more then what Christie was willing to give them and he ended up vetoing this garbage.
He didn’t full Rick Perry. He just gave them in state tuition rates.
The NJ liberals wanted him to give them “free tuition”, he said “no”, in fact, he vetoed the entire bill they sent him.
He told them exactly what he was going to sign. But this all happened in like 2013
Did you know Turkey has a coup going right now?
And than a Muslim plowed over and killed 85 people with a large panel truck in France?
2013 news right now just seems lame and silly right now
Christie didn’t go full Rick Perry with tuition Aid.
He gave them instate tuition rates.
Christie is the most pro-muslim candidate on the list.
I can’t stand this fat ass Lou Costello look—like f’ing RINO! For Christ sake it’s like his governorship is never going to end!
He’s in till 2017...
New Jersey has odd year elections
Christie is the best governor the State of New Jersey had in decades.
10000x better then Crooked Corzine
10000x better then “Gay American” McGreasy
10000x better then Christie Whitless
10000x better then Toilet Paper Florio
Looking from afar, I’d have to agree with you.
There are a lot of folks on FR in red states who don’t understand how hard it is to elect a guy like NJFatboy in a deep blue state.
Caliph Baraq was +18 in NJ in 2012.
NJFatboy did a good job here in New Jersey, all things considered. He had a state house and senate that hated his guts, he had to deal with corrupt unions and contractors. Public workers who believed the government owed them, not the other way around. And he national press that was always waiting for him to screw up.
Now out of that list I have you, Florio, McGreevy, and Corzine, Democrats, never got re-elected as governor
Florio got beat by a grassroots campaign, hands across New Jersey, that vowed to oust him for the Toilet Paper Tax and other taxes he was proposing.
McGreevy discovered he was gay and resigned (but he really was corrupt and a land owner was secretly recording him in a land deal that went south) he resigned to avoid going to prison, the gay stuff was a cover up
Corzine got his rear handed to him by Christie, Corzine wanted to sell the New Jersey Turnpike to his friends on Wallstreet. The NJ Turnpike brings in over 1.2 BILLION (the highest earning toll road in the nation)a year in revenue and Wallstreet wanted to buy it and triple the tolls on it (because heck, why not right?)
Clinton is not going to win NJ by 18, she would lucky to win it by 2, in fact I have a feeling she is going to lose it by 5 to Trump. New Jersey, even though we elect idiot democrats, sometimes we get tired of their nonsense and vote “R”, like we did for Christie. However the “R” has to have a personality and be a tough guy, Trump is that personality and tough guy. He will do surprisingly well here.
I look at immigration as a national issue, not a state one. What is New Jersey suppose to do? Build a wall around the state and check everyone’s papers as they enter?
Out of the last three elected Governors, Christie was the only one to get re-elected.
You want to blame someone for immigration, blame the federal government, the house, the senate and of course our worthless president. And our previous presidents as well
Christie made those comments while he was a US attorney.
