I read an article last week from an Israeli newspaper that discussed the decades long tension and contempt between Netanyahu and Israel’s military and intelligence leadership.
For reasons that are incomprehensible to me, Israel’s military and intelligence leadership is dominated by Socialist and Labor Party doves, and much of the Foreign Ministry leadership is dominated by outright pacifists.
“Never Again” has become just one more useless political slogan.
In my opinion, in the last decade, Israel has shown the same indecision, passivity, and willingness to compromise that got 6 million Jews murdered 70 years ago.
