Yes, this ONE child may NOT grow to be what the OP claims can happen. But, millions have already grown up this way.
Have you ever been in an all black neighborhood in a city? They have nothing to look forward to. They sit in bunches on porches and stare at cars as they drive by. How many of them actually produce something or contribute to society? How many of them have been taught that they have a responsibility as members of this society to say "No" to the bad things in life and keep others out of it as well?
What DOES the future hold for millions of people who have the free time to march in cities and clog up roads with their "protests"? What responsibilities are they forgoing in order to be present at those protests? Are they taking a day off of work?
How many of them already hate white people just because they are white? Ten percent, twenty percent or even fifty percent? Ten percent of the black population is a pretty high number. How, or what, will open their eyes to civic responsibility and lawfulness?
Tell us. There are some of us who are afraid that there is no hope of redemption for a very large group of people in this country. Please, tell us how we are wrong?
The ONLY thing that can, and will, improve the condition of our American society as a whole, and the black community specifically is this:
More. Black. Entrepreneurs.
Business must be brought to this culture. Black owned business has multiple times the good effect on that community than in anywhere else.
Nothing brings people out of the dark and hopeless like business.
