I wonder how office relationships will be Monday between black and white.

In my office, things are fine. We all work together and are all what would be considered mid-executive positions, making very decent salaries.

The DMV offices may be different. They tend to be lower wage employees coming out of the hood. They may be a little more curt. Not all, mind you.

In other words, I do not feel this is as much an issue with color as it is an issue with upbringing and of course, social media.
Where there is a financial struggle and a lack of education, there tends to be violence and racism. There is ghetto-trash and there is white trash. When a cop shoots a felon, like in Louisiana and everyone comes out of the woodwork, it is due to social media screaming it is racist and the trash reacting. Without doing any homework. Once the info comes out, they move to, “It was different with him, this time!”.

The case in Mn, thus far, gives reason for office discussion. Yet it is civilized. It is more of, “What the hell happened?” And not, why did that racist cop shoot? As the “facts” come out, it gets more confusing. We don’t fall for the, “He was a felon”, “He was a gangbanger” and “He didn’t have a conceal carry” because the facts prove otherwise.
For now.
Maybe we will all change our opinions as time goes on.
Conspiracy doesn’t work in our office, though. We call it out immediately. Ask for proof.

Anyway, that is one persons view of white and black, office politics.
